It was late, a storm had rolled in it was chilly and unforgiving and Keelan couldn't have thought of a better time to hold a secret family meeting but it wasn't the whole family. In fact Keelan had been so careful in his communication with his fellow Morrigans that not a soul knew of their presence on Keelan's personal ship The Seahawk. To save ships and harbors from being damaged in storms it was customary for the Captains to let their ships anchor a little ways off shore until such storms had passed.

Keelan was down to a skeleton crew that consisted of Bulger, Thomas Galewater, Thomas Hirshct, and Little Will 'Stubby' Stubb. His most loyal after Raff and little Rhedara Shannon of course he had released the former of course had been released of his staffing. Keelan sat in the dining cabin of the Seahawk with his Uncle Adder the head of the family, and also his two cousins Uncle Adder's oldest son and the youngest. They all drank and exchanged idle chatter until Uncle Adder finally broke Keelan from his thoughts, "Why so quiet nephew? Did you really just call us out tonight for drinks and stormtime merriment?"

Keelan sipped from his liquor crossing his legs in his seat, "No, No Uncle Adder that isn't all and I apologize for all the secrecy but I believe the family is being watched," those words drew all their attentions to Keelan, "And why is that? Gunne? Keelan...," Uncle Adder began but Keelan interrupted his Uncle, "Gunne yes, a labeled traitor," Adder titled his head, "What do you mean, traitor? For killing her dimwitted husband?"

"No. I got word she's in a hellish facility for bad witches, for her charges of being a traitor, Romo was an accident but how she was raised in your shadow has potentially cost her her life or freedom," Keelan tossed his Uncle a heavy accusation and Adder did not take it very kindly, "You will hold your tongue boy, Gunne is more Morrigan than you ever was! It's a damn shame it's her locked up and not your shady crookedness. Business man," Adder scoffed, "I took you in boy and spared nothing to give you not only a good life but eventual revenge against the family that took your parents and most of my family! Only for you to spit it back in my face Keelan by being a bootlicking soft bellied Crown ass kisser..."

As the verbal assault flew Keelan sat peacefully in his chair finishing his drink, electirc blue eyes never leaving his Uncle. Even as the words spat coated Keelan it wasn't in negativity nor did he feel sad or mad, he felt resolve and clarification dawning. Keelan Morrigan was a thorough man he had built a life and reputation of crossing his t's and dotting his i's, it was this reputation he wished to see reflected back on the family.

Adder had finished and was standing up staring down at Keelan who was staring right back again never breaking that cold electric blue eyed stare but he finally spoke, "I get it Uncle Adder, truthfully, but it's my family still losing...you've cost me my sister...both my parents and is this how we are going to remove the Rainecourts at the expense of more Morrigans? That isn't a law of equivalent exchange Uncle," Keelan finally stood and for once he was mighty satisfied and Uncle Adder hadn't saw it until it was perhaps to late. Bulger lead the boys into the dining cabin every man held crossbows, all of them cocked and ready.

"What the hell is this Keelan?" Adder barked with a fury, Keelan raised a hand and the men raised their cross bows each aimed at Uncle Adder and his sons, "For the King...for country....," Adder was going to lunge but Keelan dropped his hand and each crossbow fired killing both sons instantly while Adder was hit in the shoulder and hip which dropped him down to his knees.

Keelan grabbed a knife from the table and approached his Uncle standing over the man, "I will protect the family Uncle, I'll save them from themselves."

And Keelan would stab his Uncle twice, once in the chest and then his throat both of which coated the Morrigan. He left the knife and looked at his men, Bulger handed his boss a hankie, "Get them cut up, toss'em over before morn', clean all of this. As usual not. A. Word. Leave their hands, Bulger and I will take care of the rest...."

Each man would give their lives for Keelan, each man would take their lives if needed for Keelan. Lord Morrigan would retire to his cabin and clean himself, burn his clothes and drink. Waiting out the storm until morning....then....then un time it was time for his Morrigan empire.
