The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Animals were loyal? “As long as you continue to be the one who feeds them.” She said, eyes down casted as she thought, not in weakness. “But someone comes in to feed them in your place. Or with a preferred meal… how those loyalties shift.” Was she talking about the animals? Or the human beasts?
Ish brought them back to what had been the problem to begin with, her hazels flashing up to his face. Her voice low, as she put up a shield around them, forcing the humming louder so no prying ears could overhear her. “I trust you will ensure she will be safe. Always. In any of my absences, you will ensure our daughter climbs to the top. However she needs to, with teeth and claws, whatever she has to do.” Her eldest son had already done well, proving him offspring from Hiram himself.
Animal Lordship allows the user to communicate with and command animals through speech, which to the outsider gifted or non-gifted sounds like gibberish.

Ishmael loved the loud hum of Myla's gift, it was calming just as her presence was being around him..he hated it sometimes how this family warped its members.
He looked into her eyes deep and reflective as they were and he committed her words to burn as a lasting memory in his big brain, "Always...my love...always."
With the shields in place, that little nickname slipped from Ish. My love. Her heart jumped, only seen in the way her eyes widened slightly but her face remained that usual scowl. “I knew I picked you for a reason.” She reached up and patted his cheek. Gentle, much more than she would have done if anyone were around to witness. “Secure me something nice from Tribute will you?” She finally grinned.
