It hasn't been that long since Helena told her that Astor died, a part of her don't want to accept that he is gone. There a bit of her that kind of wish that any moment now he will walk round the corner and give her a massive hug, telling her that everything will be okay. That it all a bad dream and he is safe, however she is scared that it is real, that he won't come home. She is scared that now that Astor not here what that means for her. How can she carry on without a friend to help her. He was more than a family member to Annabeth, he was her only friend, he knew her better than anyone in the whole of Lorendale, he knew what it was like growing up in the family they did.
Annabeth now in all black made her way outside and sit by a tree. Everybody is inside she made sure to try and slip away when she can to have some time alone with her daughter. Trixie was sitting on the grass, playing with a little doll Astor brought her. "Astor are you listening? why did you leave Astor? I am scared what the future might hold, you was the one light, how can I do this without you? You were the only person who believed in me after all that I've done. I am trying to be strong for you Astor, make friends, I just don't how to be confident. I've try and be the woman you believe me to be but how can I when I hurt everyone I ever cared about." there was a few tears that ran down her face.
Somebody came along with tissue "you okay Miss Porter?" it was a female student Annabeth got to know as Sandra.
Annabeth wiped her eyes. "Yes dear. just a lot on my mind." Giving the young girl a warm smile. "Shouldn't you be inside at lunch?" Asking as she stood up topick Trixie up.
"I was heading in there now, i was just getting some extra meditation in before hand and lost track of time." Sandra explained as she looked at Trixie and gave her a wave. Trixie giggled and leaned into Annabeth.
"Well I will possible advice at the moment at least to have somebody with you when you next want to meditate, meditation is good but we don't want you skipping too many meals." Well it was more with whats been happening in Lorendale we don't want students walking around by the self. However, they don't want students to worry about it.
"Yes miss." Sandra smiled. "I go in now."
"I come with you, Trixie need a nap." It was close to Trixie bed time so it was a good excuse.
