The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Our dearest and lovely admin welcomed her new baby boy, Jet, on Sept 7th! We're so happy for her and her family! Congratulations Mama!! Your boys are all so lucky to have such an incredible mom to love them! God bless!
Cahaya's brother kept asking if she okay and if she felt lonely, ever since their parents died her brother has seen have reserved she has been towards getting close to anybody and he is worried that if he die anytime soon that there would be nobody there to look after her. Cahaya kept teeling him that she doesn't nor need anybody looking after her. She doesn't want them to feel like she is some sorry state, nor want anybody worring about her.
However, against her will her brother signed her up to see a match maker. Which for her is the most annoying thing he ever did for her. This isn't the time for love, like with everything recently been happening, Cahaya feels like she needs to be at work, focusing on her job, then getting married and having to produced children. Her work is her love and serving her country is her the joy of labor for her.
After a couple of days waiting she was standing outside the match-makers estate in a suitable dress for occasion. Even though she didn't like the idea of her brother putting her through this, she did promise to try and find a match that she will love and hold dear to her heart. To put her best Sinaga foot forward. She approached the door and knocked giving a warm smile.
When the door was answered. "Hello, I am here to see the Match-Maker. My name is Marchioness Sinaga." Remember posture, manners and hold youself up with grace and elegance

The door would be answered by a plump, pretty woman in her late twenties. The maid would study the girl at the door with her dark, thoughtful eyes, “You must be Lady Sinaga,” the maid said in a voice that sounded as if she’d won a screaming match weeks before, “Do come inside,” the maid would bring the girl to a small sitting room, “Please wait here while I fetch Lady Whistlebottom.”
Winnie had spent the late morning sitting in her garden. Once, before arthritis ravaged her hands, she would have embroidered something, or perhaps knitted, but it was far too painful to do anything too fine and intricate. Instead, she sat with her eyes closed and enjoyed the sounds of the birds chirping.
“My lady,” the rough voice of her maid broker her revery, “Your next appointment is here. Shall I show her out here, or will you see her in the drawing room?”
Winnie rose from her seat, “The drawing room, please. And bring some tea and cakes, please,” People tended to open up to her more over food and drink. And really, what kind of hostess would she be if she didn’t have refreshments at the ready?
The maid would depart so that she could relocate the young woman to the drawing room, “Lady Whistlebottom will be with you in a moment,” said the maid before leaving.
Cahaya wouldn’t have to wait long for Winnie to arrive. The door scarcely closed when it opened again to reveal the thin, old woman.
“You must be Lady Sinaga,” Winnie would give the younger woman a genuinely happy smile, “I hope this day finds you well. Are you quite comfortable?” Winnie would sit in a rocking chair that sat facing a very comfortable looking easy chair. If the young woman wasn’t already sitting in it, Winnie would gesture for her to do so.

When the door open there was a soft smile and Cahaya bowed her head softly to the maid. "I am indeed." feeling like she was being studied by the woman in front of her. It was like even before she was talking to Lady Whistlebottom she was being asided to see how she was to hold herself and treat those around her. She was brought to hold herself in such respect and never to let anyone see how you feeling inside. "Thank you very much Ms." Following the maid to the drawing room she had a look around the room as she waited.
Cahaya would wait to the lady of the house to sit down mostly out of respect. When who Cahaya think was Lady Whistlebottom entered the room she gave the older lady a curtsy. "I am Lady Whistlebottom, thank for having me." Sitting down when she would offered. "The day been lovely today, i hope your day been well. I am really comfortable thanks for asking."

“Excellent, Lady Sinaga,” said the old woman as she settled herself in her chair, “I am delighted that you chose to seek out my services today. Choosing the right spouse is more important that anybody realizes.”
Winnie would take a notebook off of an end table near her chair and would dip a quill in preparation for her note taking, “If I may be so bold to ask, my lady, what are you looking for in a husband?”

Thinking for a moment what dose Cahaya look for in a husband. She hasn't really thought about it to be honest. As she been to invested in work to fully take interest in the matter. "I would like a husband who is dedicated to his work, but somebody who is willing to get me out of my comfort zone. Willing to accept that I won't go down without a fight and that I can trust. Trust and dedication means everything to me." She explained.

Winnie wrote down some notes and some of her thoughts as Lady Sinaga spoke, a thoughtful frown on her wrinkled face. She didn’t speak at first when Chaya finished. She wanted to get her thoughts in order, wanted to make sure that the question she was about to ask was worded in such a way that it did not cause the younger woman to feel embarrassed—although one could not always avoid that particular emotion when one was in the matchmaking business.
“A dedicated man is indeed very desirable,” the old woman started, “But we must distinguish the difference between a man who takes pride in his work, and a man that is a workaholic. So I must ask, my lady, do you want a man that is more dedicated to you, or to his work?” It seemed a silly question, Winnie knew. After all, who would not want a spouse that put them before all else? However, she knew that some would prefer a spouse who left them alone unless the two were procreating.

When the Baron asked her if she wanted this man to be more dedicated to her or his work, it made her think. She never really had a man look in her direction, or that they did but she been so busy in her own work that she never really noticed. It would be nice to have somebody to hold her hands, to make her laugh and smile. "To be fair, I wouldn't know." Hiding her true feelings keeping her poker face on. Not really know how to properly express want she want.

Winnie considered the girl in front of her. She didn’t know what she wanted? How sad, she thought, “Well, lucky for you, you have me,” she said with a gentle smile, “I will help you find out what sort of a man you like. For now, we’ll keep in mind men who are diligent and loyal and work from there,” she took some notes in her book.
As she took those notes, the maid came in with some tea and snacks and would quietly set them on a table for the two women to use at their pleasure. She would leave without any words, but would curtsy before exiting. She did not want to interrupt the meeting.
“Oh good, the tea is here,” Winnie said when she finally looked up from her pad of paper, “Would you care for some tea? Maybe some sugar or milk in it, my lady?” Winnie would pour the younger woman tea and put whatever she liked in it before pouring her own cup. Winnie liked her tea with just a splash of milk, “Why don’t you tell me a bit about yourself?” Winnie inwardly admonished herself for not asking this first.

Giving a soft smile to Winifred, she always worked on serving others that she never thought about what she wanted, because she always thought that needed to focus on the work in front of her. To always put herself second. Her job is to focus on doing her task, within politics you can't let your emotions get the better of you.
When the maid walked into with the tea and snacks Cahaya bowed her heads more of thanks for anything. It what she was brought up to do, to appreciate the staff, cause at the end of the day they have task and work to do, just like the rest of us.
"I would appreciate a cup of tea Lady Whistlebottom, with some milk please" She smiled when she asked her to tell her a bit about herself, she tries to think of what to tell her. She knows she has to be open for this to work well, however, she doesn't really talk about one self cause she often find that is a waste of time, or there is more important matter at hand.
"What is there to tell about me... I am a palace secutary, I enjoy my work. I look up to my brother, I enjoy horse riding and when i am have the time I enjoy walking when the sun is setting. However, do to work, I stay to finish work and by the time i am done I am too tired to do anything but go home." It is pretty simple there wasn't much there to talk about herself. It not because she isn't confident, it just because she has been too focused on doing well in education and then work, it been a bit hard to find interest outside it.

Winifred listened to the younger woman speak of herself, nodding and taking notes ash she talked. When Cahaya was finished, Winnie took the time to drink from her cup of tea and to take a bite of a cookie before she spoke.
“You sound like a busy woman, my lady,” she said gently, “I daresay, I believe I have an idea of the sort of man that would suit you. I would advise we look for men who, although dedicated to their work, are less busy than yourself. Although it is good to find a mate that is like ourselves, we must also consider what traits would balance ourselves out, do you not agree?”

Cahaya listened to the woman in front of her. She said that she had an idea of the sort of man who might work for her. Of course she trust Winifred's judgement more than her own, in matters of the heart. If Cahaya was left to her own device she wouldn't know where to start. Which wouldn't be the best of things.
"of course, the balance would be amazing in my eyes." There was a soft smile as she takes a drink of her tea.

“Lady Sinaga,” Winnie said after contemplating her notes for a few minutes, “I do believe I may know of a man that you may be interested in. He is a count, and he has a very vast estate that he has expertly managed. His house isn’t the highest in prestige, but he is childhood friends with a member of a branch of the Wyndham family. Every time I have seen him, he has a jovial smile on his face,” she leaned forward in her seat, “And his eyes, well! Even an old woman like me gets lost in them.” She leaned back again, “I should let you know before I tell you his name that you are under no obligation to marry this man, nor is he obligated to marry you. You don’t even have to court each other if you don’t take to one another,” she would pause long enough to allow Chaya to express her understanding, “My lady, are you familiar with Count Quinton Featherton?”

Quinton Featherton, she thought for a moment as she tries to go through all the names her brother talked to her about. Of course, Cahaya, not that active in society tries to see if it ring a bell. After a moment of thinking, she responded. "I think my brother mentioned him a couple of times over dinner. I ever mat him myself personally." However, if he has friends who a relation of the wyndham depending of who cause if that was Fischer is could be tricky so would possible would need to check his opinion on the gifted community.
"i will give him a chance and we will see how things go from there." She gave a warm smile

“Excellent,” Wiinnie smiled and made a few notes in her book, “Since you are amiable to him, I will reach out to him and see if his interests lay in the same direction, and if it does, I will set up a meeting for the two of you.”

Cahaya nodded her head slightly treating it as more as a work transaction for them a matter of her heart, cause she needed to be certain that this didn't get in the way of work. "I am looking to this meeting if lord Featherton accepts to meet me." She gave a warm smile to Winifred. "I have no Questions Lady Whistlebottom."
