The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
The constable was not wasting any time. He didn’t particularly like his job. Government service had seemed like an honorable profession, one honorable enough to motivate him to hand the family business to his younger brother in order to pursue it. How he kicked himself for that decision now. There was no glamour in upholding the law at this level. Common trash, the lot of them. Better to throw them in a dungeon, he thought idly, and be done with it.
The next man was one out on parole, having served a brief sentence for beating his wife. It was one thing to do that in the privacy of one’s home, but this man had opted to do it in the streets after catching her with another man—though the woman denied it. The man had done his stent in prison and said his ways were chained. He’d gone back to business, to being a father and a husband. Yes, the wife had stayed, given that options for common women were few. The constable certainly didn’t blame her. The man’s story was sound, so he let him go.
“Next.”
The man would sign a piece a paper and look up to see who was next to walk into the room in which the parolees were seen (there were three other officers who shared it, leaving little room for privacy.

Sina was scared about this meeting. Sina doesn't see why she has to meet a patrol officer because she won't do anything and there not a chance they will take this collar off, so what is the point of her coming, especially every two days? In her opinion, it seems a little tight as it won't give her any chance to do something within the community. Like how can she work when she has to take a break to come here to the palace?
However, she doesn't have a choice so as the guards walked her to the office she looked down with a robe hiding her collar. She doesn't want people to see her. Wishing she was invisible at the moment. When she got to the office her nerves raised slightly there was other people in the room... they could be anti-gifted in the room. However, she wrapped her arms around herself it the only way she can comfort her self at the moment.
She walked towards the man when he called out next. "Miss Ikisina Navarro reporting for Patrol sir." It was quiet just loud enough for him though.
The parole officer grunted and shuffled through some paperwork, pulling up Ikisina’s records. Gifted, of course. He ready though the gift’s description, but damned if he fully understood it. No matter. He looked back up at her, not an ounce of friendly warmth in his face.

oh great, another person hates her. Sina just stands there well holding her own hands in front of her as she looked down as she waited to be asked a question. Ikisina doesn't know why she has to be here because what the point because she won't be able to do anything interesting. She is a fucking commoner. How can she help Lorendale? That right she can't. She tried to help Lorendale but look at where that put her.
When the man asked her what she been doing. "Sleeping, eating and working at the library sir." That all she able to say. How can she say more than that? She just look at the patrol officer.
The man had been working too many hours for too many days. Another woman on parole, just another face in the sea of others.
“Good, good,” The man made some chicken scratches on the parchment in front of him, not looking up as he continued to talk. “And you’ve been keepin’ away from this…er…Elliot Moore, is it?” The man double-checked his paperwork to make sure he had the name right.

Just good. That was all, nothing special, the word feel empty, each day she just wants to be held tight,.but.the.only presence.hugging her was loneliness. It was a cold embrace. Like Winter took on a physical presence and know hugging Sina.
"Baron Elliot Moore, I have." It was hard for her mentally to do because she wanted to feel his warm embrace by she knows that it would be stupid to do that. She already been too stupid by having feelings.

Sina closed her eyes. She just hopes that in time she can get used to being in the room. She will be here oftern, these cold walls. Taking her deep breath as he said his next comment. Free to go... Why does the words feel cold? She trying to be hopeful, trying to see that she can do this. But she doesn't know how though.
"Thank you sir." Giving him a curry bowing her head before going out and back to the library.
