Clenching his jaw Remi finally spoke, "Annabeth, I don't know, if it's honesty you want maybe I just used you because I'm a man. I'm clearly an impulsive ass. Everything we do has two guaranteed outcomes, good or bad and nine times out of ten it lands bad...I should have stopped and you could have too," his voice wasn't harsh but it was firm.

"Annabeth when you realize the world isn't so simple and one doesn't just simply decide who or what they are," his hands were on his hips, anger slowly rolling to the surface, but he kept his voice low, "Then come talk to me, all of this is bigger than us...what's done is done, we were both in the wrong and we need to move on."

Remiel 'hmphed' and shrugged his shoulders, "Well don't bring that anger here Annabeth not to the Keep," people were watching the scene despite only Annabeth with the raised voice, Remi looked around, "I've done had two lifetimes full of chaos and anger and I don't want it anymore...so if it's a sorry you want then I'm sorry...but that's all I'm going to give. I owe nothing to anyone, I just want to survive and live out what time I have left making my home a better place for Gifteds."

Remiel sighed, "Annabeth there is no us...not like that," he said flatly, "Friends, sure, but not like that."

Remi relaxed just a little, "It's fine, everyone's had at least one go at me, it won't be my last," Remiel looked around and saw no guards or escort for Annabeth, "Did you travel out here alone?"
