The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Keelan and Nicholas had decided to join forces, possibly even merge their businesses in Nevermere later, but for now they wanted to have a monopoly over the trade in Coheed. He had hoped to go to Coheed first and discuss things there, but the tour had brought them to Cambria first and it would have to do.
Nicholas had managed to arrange a meeting with the King to get together and discuss the trade. Cassian's contact person would have been able to tell the king that Keelan and Nicholas were interested in discussing trade and travel. Nicholas was mostly interested in providing ships to haul people across the sea to Coheed, but was also interested in providing wares to Coheed, and from Coheed to Nevermere. Together with Keelan's knowledge, they'd be able to do well for themselves and the kingdom.
The gray-haired man approached the tent in which they'd hold the meeting. He was waiting for Keelan and for permission to enter.

Cassian waited within, the permission to enter granted by Alys, who came to the opening and held it back for the men to enter.
They would find the king sitting in a traveling throne, two additional chairs of fine quality set before him, a small fire between them on which tea brewed. Alys would move to make the tea, worldly offering them both a cup. Cassian would remain silent, looking to the one who had arranged the meeting to get it started.
