Humphrey doesn’t like to take life too seriously…or at all really. There’s not a lot that goes on in his pretty head. He loves nothing more than to eat, drink, and chase skirts. Rinse and repeat. Of course, it’s hard to live that sort of lifestyle when your parents cut you off for your sheer foolishness. Luckily he has a like-minded friend who is totally loaded and willing to make the sky rain with money.

He’s also known to be a bit inconsistent. He’s always jumping from one hobby to the next…unfortunately, those hobbies are never anything productive. He’s either obsessed with “alchemy” (his idea of alchemy is mixing different hard liquors with dirt in a jar and shaking it in hopes of creating a dragon), or challenging other people to arm wrestle.

Humph was born into a respectable and affluent family. At birth, his parents had high hopes and dreams for him, and were determined to give him the best education they could afford and all the advantages of their station. As he grew older, they were sorely disappointed to find out that any ambition that he’d been graced with was directed at drinking and whoring and buzzing off from one “hobby” to the next. In a last-ditch effort, his father severely lowered his yearly allowance, hoping that the small pittance he was allotted would be motivation to shape up and make something of himself. And it did to a certain degree. Humph knew that something had to change if he were to maintain a lifestyle that he was accustomed to. So he reached out to his old chum from school and has indefinitely made himself a guest and frequently helps himself to whatever delights he thinks he is offered.
