The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Arynnite armor: The armor have two states: active and inactive. When inactive, they look like little more than ornate metal bracers, easily ignored. When triggered, the armor covers Tybalt and serves as an exoskeleton. It will protect its wearer from physical damage and is practically indestructible.
The armor has a certain "preprogrammed" purpose which is to protect its host. To do so, it reacts to heightened emotional states such as fear and anger, at which point the armor will trigger regardless of whether or not Tybalt wants it to or even if he's immediately aware of the threat. It has some degree of awareness and sentience although very basic and one which struggles to differentiate between enemies and friends. Whilst not actually in possession of a will, the armor can guide or direct its host in a specific action, much like a reflex.
The armor needs to be "fed" as Tybalt has discovered meaning that he must hold and absorb through touch certain metals such as steel, copper, iron and tin, a process which takes a few minutes. Without which, the armor will begin to weaken and become less effective until no longer able to manifest.
Perhaps its greatest weakness is that if being consistently bashed or beaten, it would begin to repair itself by using parts of the armor from elsewhere. For instance, if the wearer is being consistently hit in the chest, the armor will begin to pool away from other parts of their body such as the feet and hands, leaving them vulnerable.

A letter would arrive some time in the late evening, or early morning of the day following the Eldouir's taking of the palace. Along with the note, the messenger would have a certain cream coloured, blue eyed husky with them. The letter was for Felicity Zane , and bore the seal of her husband:
My dearest love,
By now, I'm sure that some of the news of what has occurred at the palace has reached you. It is true, the Eldouir have returned, and seem intent to stay in Lorendale.
Firstly, do not worry about me. I'm fine, and with the palace mostly empty I'm able to avoid our guests easily enough. Prince Augustus has resolved to stay here, and I will do the same. Someone must stay in the palace so as to keep an eye on the Eldouir, and to show the people that there is still someone from government there, and that we haven't given everything over to Hiram. I know that you likely won't approve, but I'm afraid pride, and duty force me to remain.
There is still hope.
I must ask you not to come to the palace. You know Hiram's reputation as much as I do.
I have sent you Sky, she has no patience with the Eldouir, and I can't see her presence in the palace ending well.
I miss you and the children terribly, and hope to be back with you as soon as possible. In the meantime, stay brave. Please, tuck the children in for me, and tell them that I am thinking of them. I know that you will remain strong throughout all of this. Our people will be looking for leaders at a time such as this. You are certainly one of them.
We will be reunited soon my love.
Your loving husband,
Tybalt,

Felicity tore into the contents of the letter with no restraint, her eyes too full of tears to see the words, the familiar penmanship swimming across the page. She rubbed vigorously at her face to gain an audience with the letter, and as soon as she began reading her heart swelled. Their marriage and relationship had not always been an easy one, no doubt both were to be blamed but maybe Felicity a little more than Tybalt, but Felicity’s sun rose and set on Tybalt. He had become her most treasured possession since their marriage, and especially since he came to Coheed to save her. To read that he was well filled her with joy. Her sense of duty made her understanding of his desire to remain at the palace. She would read the letter many times over before rushing to the children to relay their father’s words. He was her hero, and she had raised them to consider him theirs as well.
