The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Kaalim was on his toes more than ever with the arrival of the King's tour, his presence had been more hands on with the Coheed warriors as the Parabolti was Imani heading now so he had to polish his own men. Today he was training a group of young Coheed men and peppered amongst them were various Nevermere soldiers, Kaalim trained and taught either background finding himself surprised from time to time that they sought him out.
They were going over intensive combat training, the rush of being on a battlefield. Kaalim had divided everyone into a mixture of groups where one at a time one member of the group must fend off the rest of the group. The goal was to learn battlefield awareness, test a man's grit, and survive. Kaalim had drilled into them that on the battlefield in the heat of it all there wouldn't be many one on ones. Most of the time you would face multiple opponents at chaotic moments, do what they needed to survive and press the attack.
Kaalim was with a group of his own, opting to take the first run at his group. The big man was a force to reckon with and already battle proven. He survived wars, battles, and shuffles with the Red Heads. He didn't need the training but the moment he stopped was the moment he died. He fought with his large steel bo staff with a refined edge dialing back on his strikes though, he didn't want to hurt them but with each opponent that fell Kaalim had left them with reminders. In the end Kaalim survived and was left standing, respectively he helped each man up. Then excused himself so the group could continue their training. He would walk among them, towering over them.
