The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

OOC Note: Ellora Roquefort is a once-played enchanter who occupies a complicated position in Coheed's plot. Eloell has approved this one-shot as a way to tie up this loose end. If you have any questions, please reach out to Eloell.
Magda was reckless to the point of insanity, but not yet entirely a fool. She knew that the day would come when she’d have to answer to the king. Strange that there had been a time when she would have done just about anything to gain his favor—but those days were over. Only one man remained, and she was determined to possess him, come what may. And in that pursuit, she could leave no stone unturned.
Long had Ellora Roquefort failed to serve Coheed. She’d been evasive towards Kaalim, and Rian thereafter. The woman who had claimed herself to be an ally of Coheed had drifted too far away from her roots. She’d supposedly given up the Arynnite way of life and chosen the way of Coheed instead. But what use was an enchanter if they didn’t enchant?
She was nothing but a liability. A loose end. A reason to draw attention.
Ellora Roquefort would disappear. If questioned, a few would speak to having seen the foreign minister leave in the direction of her where Ellora was rumored to be. But they wouldn’t be asked, and such a minute detail was soon forgotten. And so, the once coucilwoman faded away. Became a ghost, nothing but a memory to haunt the shores of Coheed. In the years to come, some would say that if you walked down to the seaside you could hear her crying from the waves.
Magda Ivanova once again spilled blood in Coheed. First Izen, now Ellora: both innocents made casualties in her question for power. She’d return from Ellora’s home with a new trinket in her pocket; the final gift that Ellora would provide Coheed and its cheiftess. A portal key.
