Normally Gunne wasn't the kind to go to a tavern, let alone by herself, but that day she was in desperate need of a drink. Her children had been acting up and she knew Romulo was out, doing business and earning money. She hoped his day was going well. She didn't rule out the chance that she'd try to find him in the city and pay him a susprise visit, but for new, a beer or some wine was what was on her mind.
The woman walked to the bar, trying to catch the bartender's attention by waving at him. When he came over, she smiled weakly and greeted him. She hadn't decided what she wanted to drink yet, and decided to order both drinks she was debating between. The last few weeks/months had been difficult. Rosamere was missing, her family was worried and so was she. She wanted to see her niece again and prayed every night to the Goddess that Rosamere wasn't hurt. So far, her praying hadn't paid off. There was no sign of life.
Gunne hadn't planned on staying long, but after sitting by herself in a private room upstairs for a while and drinking, she had lost track of time and of the amount she'd had to drink. She was feeling a bit woozy, but also giddy. The walk down the stairs was quite a fight, but at last, she succeeded. Once again she went over to the bar and ordered another pint, accompanied by just the right amount of slurring her words. The evening had started to fall, so visiting Romulo wasn't something she was planning on doing anymore. She was enjoying the music and the people around her. Pint in hand, the woman made her way towards the dancefloor. She didn't dance often, but when she did, she enjoyed every minute of it. The same was the case that day, apart from when she bumped into someone hard enough to drop her beer. The liquid didn't hit the ground, but hit the person she bumped into. "Oh heavens", she hiccuped, taking a step back to look at the damage she had done, closing one eye slightly more than the other in order to see clear. "You took my beer." A goofy smile appeared on her face, as she hiccuped once more.
