The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

Your Highness,
I hope this letter finds you and your children well. I believe I speak for all of Nevermere when I say it is a pleasure to have your returned to us once again. You’ve long been a shining light in the darkness, which we need now more than ever.
I’m writing to you regarding my niece, Valeria Delaney . She has recently decided to resign her post as a military officer, in favor of seeking a future at court. I would consider it a great favor and honor if you were to consider her to join you as a lady-in-waiting. Much like you, my niece is a bright young woman who values dedicated service to her kingdom.
May Nevermere continue to prosper under his majesty’s rule.

Lord Usher,
It would be my joy and pleasure to have your niece join me as a lady-in-waiting. Your family has been a faithful ally of mine, and it is my privilege to return the favor. Particularly as I reacclimate to life in Nevermere, I’d be grateful to have a friendly partner on my journey.
As I understand it, your niece is soon to give birth—my most sincere congratulations to you both. Once the child is born and she has settled into the joy of motherhood, I invite her to join me here at court.
