The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Change in how times flows. Was 4 IC seasons, now only 2 IC seasons per 1 OOC year.
5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
The wrap was drenched in blood by the time Sigyn reached the village. Some women gasped as she walked past, asking her if she was okay and what had happened, but Sigyn had no time for that. She needed to find Waoila - and fast. The healer needed to stop the bleeding, before Sigyn bled out.
Luckily she knew where Waiola lived, so she had a clear destination and goal in mind. The Seeer arrived at the house/tent and stumbled inside, no time for knocking and announcing herself. "Sister, help", she said as soon as she saw the blonde. She held up her hand, which was still wrapped, but the blood would surely give away how serious this situation was. Her hand had been gravely damaged. The pinky was all gone, her ring finger cut off right at the first joint and her middle finger cut off at the second joint, meaning only the tip was gone there. She had no time to explain, and instead sat down at the table, looking up at Waiola for help.

Waiola was at home with her sisters when she heard Sigyn's voice coming in calling for help. This made Waiola stood up like there was no tomorrow. When she saw the hand and the amount of blood her healer head turned on and so did her sisters. Her mother was in the healers tent and as the oldest the head healer fell on her.
"Lorna I need you to put the water on. Judda I need you to get my equipment. Gyorgyi, I need to stay with me okay and listen very carefully." Chiaka was only eighteen so even though still in a way a adult still learning.
Waiola lead Sigyn to the table, "Sister I need you to lay down. Gyorgyi going to stand at your head and I want you to rest your hand on her shoulder." She only asked because it look like there was a lot of blood lost and the last thing she needed was her to pass out.
Judda came back with the equipment Isolde gave her and a few more. She grabbed a thick piece of what looked like leather and used it cut of the vein to try and stop the bleeding.
Her daughter was thankfully playing in another room.
The healer instinct seemed to immediately take over. Waiola started throwing orders around, and the sisters all did what she asked of them. So did Sigyn. She laid down and placed her hand on Gyorgyi's shoulder. Having her hand above her heart would slow the bleeding down. Her heart wouldn't be able to pump it up as fast this way. Sigyn was fairly pale and she felt a little faint. Her body was experiencing a bit of shock, which wasn't surprising given the circumstances. Waoila then wrapped a belt around her arm to cut off the vein from sending more blood, so she could work on the wounds. "Thank you, sister", she muttered, closing her eyes and preparing herself for the pain once Waiola would start cleaning and perhaps stitching the skin. Painkillers weren't what they are today, after all.

She started to unwrap the temporary wrap that was trying to stop the bleeding. Judda was sitting by Sigyn's side trying to keep her still, they didn't have anything to numb the area in these days. "No need to thank me. Just hold onto Judda's hand this possible will hurt." Hopefully Judda will tell her if Sigyn pass out.
Lorna came back with the water, it was clean all of her medical staff was clean. So waiola went underway to start cleaning the injuries to know forcertain what she was working with. She can't really go in there blind, Lorna stood by Sigyn's tool as she would ask for each tools when she needed them.
Once each finger was cleaned enough she carefully looked at each finger stub to see what could be done. Thankfully there was skin left to do a clean stich. "Sister i am going to start stitching." She was praying to the All-mother that Sigyn don't pass out. As she started stitching each one making sure that each one didn't leave to much scaring however she know that she would never be able to use this hand the way she did before.
Sigyn did what Waiola did her, and took a hold of Judda's hand. Even during the cleaning, Sigyn squeezed the hand. Cleaning didn't feel good, and the stitching hasn't even started yet. The Seer grunted and gritted her teeth.
Waiola announced that she was going to start stitching, and Sigyn prepared herself for it. She took a deep breath and tried to stay awake. She couldn't afford passing out, it could be deadly if she lost too much blood. And then the needle went it. Sigyn yelled out in pain and squeezed Judda's hand even harder. One of the women offered her a cloth to keep between her teeth, so she could bite down on it.

Waiola heard screaming plantey of times now so it doesn't effect her as much as it used to when she first started out. She still hated the fact that sometimes they have to curse pain to heal them but it better in the long run. "You doing great Sigyn." She was reassured her, she doesn't know how much help it would bring.
She know once all this was done, she would have to send one of her sisters to inform Isolde of her daughter location. She lost a lot of blood and even once her hand is treated she wouldn't be sending her home right away. If all well she hope to keep her in overnight, but still mother might be worried.
She tried to be as quick as she could to cause the least amount of pain. Judda was sitting by her holding the hand taking the pain from her hand being squeezed with a smile on her face as she placed a reasuring hand on her check. "keep your eyes on me and hold on tight. You are strong." Judda was great with words.
As she finished with the stitches she cleaned the excess blood that came from it as she then carefully removed the belt. Slowly moving to Sigyn side and carefully taking her injured hand and carefully inspecting it. "I am going to redress it, it will feel strange for a while nothing to worry about. I will recommend coming to see me, my mother or my sisters to get it redressed till it fully healed. However for now I need you to rest. you lost a lot of blood." She nods to Lorna who got the memo to go and find Isolde to informed her that her daughter been injured but is safe and taken care of.
She got some clean dressing to start the process of dressing her hand.
While Waoila was dressing her hand, she started to shake her head. "I can't stay, I need to go back", she said, even though she knew her hand would need to rest. She hadn't explained to Waiola yet what had happened to her hand and where she wanres to go back to ahain. She needed to go and see if @revna still needed help with Kelder. But Revna would probably be fine. There were loads of other warriors with her, and Sigyn was better off here and alive than bleeding out back there. She hadn't wanted to leave her sister behind, but she knew Revna was capable of bringing Kelder back by herself, especially with the other women present.

Waiola sighs. "I don't care what you think you need. What you NEED is to stay here. You lost a lot a blood.. thank the all mother that you managed to get here without passing out." If Sigyn tries to sit up she will put a hand on her shoulder to try and keep her laying down. Once she was done with the dressing she went to clean her hands.
"Your health is most important to me sister." Once she was done with cleaning her hand she walked over to sigyn and placed a hand on her cheek and smiled. "Like I told you the other day you have to think about your health dear."
The direct approach Waiola took was exactly what Sigyn needed sometimes: someone who firmly told her no. So the wounded woman nodded in silence, accepting that her sister wouldn't let her leave. She didn't attempt to sit up, she kept laying down, fighting the tiredness she was feeling from losing blood.
Sigyn nodded again, with a soft smile, when Waiola reminded her of what she had said one if the previous times they met. She needed to take care of herself more. "Okay", she eventually said. "But when Kelder and Revna return, I need to go see them." After that, she drifted off in an uncomfortable sleep, where she experienced over and over again hoe Kelder chopped off her fingers. The tiredness had prevented her from keeping it a secret what had happened, but Waiola knew about Kelder anyway.

Waiola smiled softly she was happy that Sigyn was willing to accept that she needed to stay. However, depends on how well Sigyn was when Revna and Kelder arrive back, depends on if Waiola tells Sigyn or not. She still looks pale and is drifted in and out of sleep. "Chiaka can you make something for Sigyn to eat she need something when she wakes." She explained.
As Sigyn was passed out Waiola used her stregth to carefully picked Sigyn up and carried her to her bed. Judda followed her and carefully make move the cover out the way as Waiola place Sigyn down carefully on the bed. "Rest dear Sigyn."
