Captain Commander Usher,With this letter, I wish to inform you of my findings in regards to the assessment.First of all, I will explain how I assessed the soldiers. I paired everyone up and let them spar against each other for a while so I could assess their skills, form and technique. After a few minutes, I would stop them and provide each of them with feedback on how they did. This went smoothly, and I'm satisfied with how well they obeyed the orders given to them.Secondly, I want to note that I had informed everyone of the time and place three days prior to the assessment. Yet, @elletta , Elodie Atwood and @torsten were late. Haider was the only one with a justifiable excuse. She was running late because of her medic training. I excused her for it, but told her to not let it happen again. After all, she too had known about this training. I didn't ask the other two for their excuse. Perhaps I should have, but this assessment was important and should have been their number one priority. Then, the pairs.First, @berengar and Julius Fletcher.Stormcrest is a good soldier. I think highly of him. He's quick, he's fast, he's smart. He was able to foresee what Fletcher would doe and successfully blocked the attacks.
I do want to inform you of a worry I have in regards to Stormcrest. The boy has been asking a lot about werewolves, and it appears that Wulfbrand's shift and attack has made him afraid of them. This could be an issue during the war.Fletcher still has a lot of training to do, but he has potential. His attacks lack confidence. The second pair was Octavius Wulfbrand and Zarha Sliva . This was by far the most interesting and well-matched pair.Like we both know, Wulfbrand is a good soldier. I really can't say much else. He acted like a skilled soldier would. I also made sure to let him know to come to us if anyone gives him a hard time about what happened at the ball. The same goes for Sliva. For such a young soldier, she's smart and good at what she does. Sometimes even a little too good. She spends a lot of her time training and doesn't have many friends in the military. We need to keep an eye on this, so it doesn't become a problem. We don't need a burnout.Haider has a lot of experience, thanks to her time in Coheed. She put up a great fight, but she wasn't able to fully show what she was capable of. This wasn't her fault, though. It was Atwood that was the cause of it. Her defence is shaky and her attacks weak. And because she was also late, I would recommend putting her on staff duty. She has a lot to prove. Then we have @torsten and Joan Conrad.Again, a good performance. Nothing much to be said -- which is good. Mosse was late, though.
((List of NPC soldiers here))In conclusion, overall the soldiers did good. Some exceptions here and there, but that was to be expected. If you agree with my notes, I'll inform the soldiers of their duties. I will send Captain @warren a copy of this letter as well.Kind regards,Lieutenant Aldrich Abbott
