The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!
Keelan had kept the hands of his Uncle and the hands of his sons, Keelan's cousins. Bulger had carved the letter 'T' into their hands the marks of traitors which would be explained in the unanimous letter explaining that the people of Rainecourt Rule and supporthave dealt with the traitors at the head of the Morrigan family. The hands and letter would pass through contact after contact for a few days before a random Herald of the King would bring the package wrapped in a red bow to Commander Hadrian Usher .
"Commander this package has been addressed to you," the young Witch with the red ribbon wrapped box stated as soldiers escorted her into his office.

The messenger ( arrived in Hadrian’s office just as he was on his way out. His brow furrowed at her, looking from the girl to the package in her arms. It was uncharacteristic, near unheard of, for Hadrian to open packages or mail himself. That was for his assistants to sort, so having one delivered directly was…odd. No matter. Hadrian waved a hand to the staff assistant sitting in his office behind him.
“Give it to Lieutenant Crowe,” Hadrian said, gathering the last of his papers and preparing the leave the office. The messenger did so and the staff assistant began to process the package as Hadrian headed out the door. Hadrian, however, did not make it far.
The scream had him turning on his heel and flying back into his office. The box lay open on Lieutenant Crowe’s lap. Peering inside, Hadrian saw the hands and his stomach turned. He looked down and saw a letter attached to the inside of the lid which he snatched up and red.
Members of a prominent noble family were dead. The people of Rainecourt Rule were claiming credit. Hadrian may be suspicious of the king as of late, but surely this matter was above such things.
“Seal this package and write a report for the king at once,” Hadrian said, “He should know of this immediately.”
Hadrian would see that knowledge of the matter did not leave the confines of his office until the king Cassian Rainecourt had been fully briefed.
