The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

At Tallis' laugh Cezar bit back one of his own, his lips quirking up and his dimples becoming visible. He loved the sound of her laugh. He wasn't entirely sure what Tallis was getting, or expecting to get, from this encounter but she seemed to find amusement in it if not curiosity. He shook his head slightly as Tallis began to reply.
He parted his lips to tell the woman that revenge would not be worth the risk in her case when Tallis continued. He quirked a brow as he looked from Tallis and back to Ikisina, settling his thigh against the back of the chair Tallis was sitting in, his hand gently on her shoulder, thumb softly stroking. He was very curious to see how the woman would reply.

The man is being right 'lovely dovy' and it is stupid. It is hard to see people act like they were in love when she gave her heart to those she loves, for them to rip it away. First, it was Astor, who married Scout, then it was Dresden who she felt she let down but he told her to look for someone who could love her back and marry her. Then Elliot who she thought would never leave her, who had her back, who cared about her. However, he fed her to the tigers.
"I asked for advice, it doesn't mean I trust you." her voice was soft. It was clear she doesn't feel like she doesn't trust anyone anymore. How can she, when her heart has been turned to shreds and left out in the rain?
Sina thought for a bit about her words. "I am not scared of Elliot, I am angry at him. There isn't anything that I am aware of that he is afraid of that won't put me in danger of coursing problems with myself." She explained. Elliot is a very smart man and she has to give it to him too bad Sina knows Tallis who is a lot smarter than Elliot.

“I asked for advice, it doesn’t mean I trust you.”
Tallis considered for a moment and then shrugged, making an expression that seemed to say ‘fair enough’ before she sipped her wine. Tallis had no particular objective for this conversation. She followed it where it led, enjoying the feeling of Cezar’s thumb against her skin.
As Ikisina continued to speak, Tallis’s brow furrowed. It was true, Iksina was up a shit creek without a paddle in some regard. She was a little frustrated that the woman wasn’t putting proposals forward of her own. No matter. Tallis would take charge (as she often preferred to).
“Elliot Moore has been operating an illegal fight club for some time,” Tallis offered, sipping her wine, “I imagine it would be quite damaging to his reputation and credibility if people were to find out."

Cezar was not at all willing to put himself or Tallis in any kind of risk by associating with any sort of revenge plot. The girl seemed to have no specific ideas of her own, no wonder she felt she had to try to find someone to help. What Tallis said was plenty helpful as a starting place for the collared girl.
"I'm sure you can figure out something to do with that kind of information but I'm afraid that's all we'll be able to help you with. We do wish you luck, though," Cezar replied with a mixed tone of encouragement but also a clear sign that this conversation was over. He would not encourage any further advice or involvement from Cezar and Tallis Morand.

Sina was listening as she barely touched the drink that Tallis had given her, so she took a swig of it when she heard Tallis's idea. What is she doing this isn't like her, but what else can she do, she was a lonely, commoner with no friends, nobody to guide her. Not really showing any emotions, so many people have told her in more then one way that showing emotions is stupid. That Emotions get in the way and trusting people too much is hard.
Before she said anything in regards to Tallis's idea Cezar spook saying that is all they going to be helping with. Even though she knew that it was meant to be encouragement, however she didn't feel encouraged, how can anyone be in the situation she is in. Sina knows that she was the one who put herself in this situation for wanting to be close to someone, wanting to filled loved. However she wonder why can everybody else be filled with love apart from her, when she has so much love to give.
However, she nodded her head with a monotone expression. "I will have to think on the idea but thank you for your time." All expression slowly fading and the once joy and love exiting her eyes.

Tallis’s father had been a harsh man. There were times that he’d been downright cruel. But it wasn’t until after his death that Tallis realized that there’d been kindness in his cruelty. That every blow he’d inflicted, every hardship he’d had her endure had been to make her strong. To make her a woman that would be able to survive what the world had to offer. And Tallis had come to believe that this was the greatest act of love. To be hated so that the object of your affection might thrive.
This belief was on full display now.
Some people had to be forced to come into their full power, and Iksina she felt was one of them. Freedom was not a thing that could be given. It had to be seized with both hands; torn from the clutches of your oppressors. It would be an injustice to rob Ikisina of the opportunity to take what was rightfully hers. If she didn’t…well, Tallis thought, perhaps she deserved to be in chains.
