The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

After a good night sleep, well as good as one as Sina can get on a sofa. Sina needed to talk to Tallis, there was this fire within her heart that came with being heart broken. Heart broken for the last time, how could he do this to her, how could Elliot report her after all that the went through together, he made her feel happy then they was intermit than he basically thrown her onto the streets.
Sina knew that Tallis was a smart woman and pretty powerful with her gift, she will be able to think of ways to help her get this fucking collar of and also for her to get revenge on Elliot. He broke this sweet girl, she tried so hard to be sweet and not let what happened to her in the past break her, but she trusted him and she lost her trust in him.
So she was wearing a black clock to cover the collar that is around her next and made her way to the estate Tallis told her about. Thankfully when she lived at the moore estate she had saved up quiet a bit of money so she could afford a carriage which is good enough cause she need to find a way to think of a way to serve Lorendale to prove to those people who clearly don't care about the people that she isn't just a nobody. She is Ikisina and she tired of being walked all over, she not a welcome mat.
As she got to the estate there was a darkness in Sina's eyes once where there was a light, hope and joy. There is anger and hurt that the system is not for people like her. She knocked on the door and when opened. "I need to speak to Lady Tallis right now!" It wasn't a simple request, it was a matter of I won't be going until I spoken to her as she walked in without the staff welcoming her in.

There were no servants at the ranch. Farmhands, sure, when Tallis required them, but they liked to keep costs low and prying eyes few. Ikisina would have to knock loudly and for some time. If that were the case, Tallis would eventually hear it. It was evening. Tallis had donned her white nightgown with her nightdress wrapped over it. Candle in hand, she’d been on her way to say goodnight to Cezar Scorza, as she often did. Perhaps she’d even sleep there.
But Ikisina’s knocking caught her attention. Tallis went to the door, face illuminated by the candle, and swung it open. It took her a moment to recognize Ikisina. Her eyes went from the woman’s face to the collar on her neck then back up again. A grin spread broadly across her features.

Sina's didn't return the smile. She couldn't feel like smiling, she lost all hope in smiling again, she feel darkness. "I would enjoy small talk. However, I am not here for pleasure, I am here for business that I feel like you would enjoy... Revenge." She has a feeling that she talking to the right person. "Also the sooner I get out of this stupid thing the better."

Tallis leaned against the doorframe, smirking with her arms crossed. The girl was an amusing little thing, she’d give her that. Tallis loved a novelty, and so after a moment’s consideration, stepped back and motioned the girl inside. If Ikisina obliged, Tallis would close the door behind her and lock it. She made no effort to keep her voice down; in fact, she rather hoped her voice carried enough for Cezar Scorza to notice it. The Scorza’s home was nice but modest—befitting of their station.
“You don’t strike me as the revenge type,” Tallis started, going over to pour wine for them both and motioning for Ikisina to sit, “What changed?”

Following the women in. She was right wasn't the revenge type. However she been walked on by somebody who she thought cares about. " Elliot Moore change! He made me believe that he cares than he thrown me to the streets and reported a crime which I didn't commit. You are a smart woman, will be able too think of something so it doesn't lead it back. Cause the sooner it looks like I am a model citizen the better. " sitting down on the chair, she always sees herself as a good person however Elliot broke her heart.

Tallis sat, watching Ikisina as if she were a toy that had been brought for her personal amusement. Elliot Moore. The name was not unfamiliar to Tallis; after all, the business circles in Loren were small if you moved in them. She sipped her drink as she considered the woman in front of her.
Tallis was just about to ask another question when she heard footsteps of someone entering the room. She turned her head, already smiling with the assumption of who it was.
“We have a visitor.” The playful lilt to Tallis’s voice was one that Cezar Scorza would certainly recognize. It was a dangerous one.

Cezar had been in his room dozing. He hadn't fully been asleep, feeling restless but it was the knock at the door that woke him fully. He listened to hear if Tallis was awake and moving around and when he heard her footsteps move towards the door he half considered just trying to go back to sleep. However, curiosity got the better of him, especially given the time of night.
He was pulling on a pair of pants when he heard Tallis' voice come more clearly up through their home, catching the word 'revenge' which made him frown. What was going on? He soon had stepped out of his room and heard Ikisina's voice now as her emotional tone made it clear she was upset. Soon entering the room he smiled politely at Tallis' words though he caught the hint in her voice, one only he would recognize. "I see that," he replied, nodding to Ikisina as he walked over to Tallis and leaned down to press a kiss to her temple, ever the appearance of a loving married couple.
Standing behind her chair with his hands on her shoulders he looked to Ikisina. "What did I miss? All I really caught was something about revenge?" he asked.

When Tallis called up for Cezar announcing that there was a visitor, remember to suppress her emotions, cause look how emotions get her, they got her collard and people thinking she was a monster when she only wanted to help. How could Elliot do this, she thought that Elliot was her best friend, she thought Elliot cared for her, people who care for people wouldn't do something like this. Or so she thought.
When a man walked in a placed a kiss on Tallis's temple Sina looked away, tightening her fist. "I want to get Revenge on someone who thinks he can lie about me and gets away with it. However, as your... wife said." the word wife was like a dagger in her own heart, like people broke her heart so many times she doesn't know if she has the strength to love again. "Revenge isn't in my nature. Plus I know if it leads back to me, then I won't get this collar off."

Tallis reached up and lay her hand at his, gazing all the while at Ikisina with a smirk. The circumstances didn’t call for such mirth, but that had hardly stopped Tallis before.
“Revenge is as human an inclination as there is,” Tallis tilted her head, leaning her cheek against Cezar’s hand, “It is only that some are afraid of getting their hands dirty.” She took a sip of her wine, staring, toying with the woman in front of her.

Cezar kept his opinions to himself but oh did he have them. He looked at this emotional woman with the collar around her throat. They had never known that feeling, having never been open about their gifts when gifteds were collared as a general practice. According to the woman, she was wrongfully put into the collar and he was inclined to believe her. Or at least to believe that she believed that was true. Even so, she was also right in the risk of being stuck in the collar if she acted on her thirst for revenge.
His only reply was a mere hum of understanding and a squeeze of Tallis' shoulder under her hand.

Sina's eyes drifted downwards for a moment before her gaze shifted between the two individuals standing before her. Elliot had proven himself to be trustworthy, and she had placed her faith in him completely. She had given him everything she had to offer. Yet it clearly wasn't enough for him.
"I don't know what else I can do," Sina said, her voice tinged with frustration. "I've worked tirelessly to be a good person, and I still want to do good. But no matter what I do, everyone sees me as a monster. It's as if all my efforts are for nothing."
Sina's shoulders slumped as she spoke, the weight of her struggles evident in her posture. She had tried so hard to be a positive force in the world, but it seemed as though her efforts were in vain. Despite her best intentions, she was still viewed as a villain by those around her. She doesn't want to be a villain she wants to help the community.
The wine in her hand is still untouched "This is so unlike me, I feel so betrayed. I was told if I show a positive impact on the community then they think about taking the collor off I have a meeting with a portal officer tomorrow. I have to see them every two days, How can I make an impact if I spend as much time with whoever they are? All I will say is I work, eat and sleep. not really useful is it? so at this right I will never get this off."

Ikisina would find no change in Tallis’s demeanor. The smirk endured, not an ounce of sympathy softening her features. She listened in a way that could almost be described as patient if it weren’t for the restless, rhythmic drumming of her fingers against her glass.
“Your efforts were for nothing,” Tallis said, flatly passing her judgment. “You played their game on their terms, and now seem surprised that you lost. But what’s done is done. All that matters now is what comes next.” Tallis sipped her wine, still trying to decide what to do with the woman before her. There was some sort of equation she was trying to work out, but what stood at the other side of it was yet unclear.
“You say that this Elliot Moore is a liar? That you didn’t do whatever it is you’re accused of?”
Post by Cezar Scorza on Nov 29, 2023 10:53:50 GMT -5
The tiniest hint of a smile twitched up Cezar's lip for the briefest second at Tallis' reply. Of course the woman's efforts were for nothing. They knew what the gifteds were up against and the game wasn't created to be fair. Still, Cezar's mind was already made up on what they would, or wouldn't, be doing for Ikisina but he let the women speak. Perhaps something could be said to change his mind, but this stranger was not worth the risk that a game of revenge could invite.

Sina listened as she thought for a bit. Finally taking a sip of the wine that was in her hand, she read a lot of books in her life but they could never prepare her for the real world. Growing up she thought that once she left the orphanage she would be ready for what life throws at her, but she guess that all the reading she did hide her from what the real world has in store for people like her.
"Yes, Moore did lie about the charges." he led her on, made her feel safe and wanted, and cared for. Now she is left to feel well... who knows?
Looking between Tallis and Cezar, "What do you advise me to do?"
Post by Tallis Scorza on Dec 5, 2023 18:05:50 GMT -5
When Ikisina asked for advisement, Tallis tossed back her head and laughed. It wasn’t mocking, but instead a laugh of bewildered surprise. She nearly dropped her wine in the process but managed to resettle her beverage before it sloshed over the rim.
“Advise you?” Tallis repeated, “Would you so readily trust someone you hardly know with such a decision? One that could make your situation even worse than it already is?” She snorted, contemplating to no one in particular, “Perhaps that’s why you’re in this position to begin with.”
But, Tallis sighed and took a drink, contemplating the woman in front of her. “Revenge, however sweet, will not buy your freedom. If it is Elliot Moore’s lies that make you a prisoner, the only key is his confession. So long as it is as you say—that you have maintained your innocence and no wrong has been done—the power he has over you is one of fear. What you need to make him afraid. To give him an incentive to be truthful.”
Tallis waited, to see what Ikisina had for her in return.
