Shockingly enough, Sylas had not been working or studying when he'd been informed of the King's wish to see him. In fact, he was having tea with @kezia. While things were very stressful indeed since the attack on the wall, the two of them at least remained stronger than ever, supporting one another in their new duties.

"Sounds serious," Sylas said to her, noting the urgency in the tone of the messenger. "I'll see you soon," he promised as he stood and placed a tender kiss on her head, pressing down the curls and waving a little goodbye to Raiden and Geb before he left the room.

Soon enough he was stepping into Akagi's workshop, his face looking grim. "What is it?" he asked. "Has something happened?" Already?

When Sylas entered Akagi sensed something akin to worry at about the same time Grimlock split a training dummy clean in half. He waved Sylas over, "No! No..no..no..nothing bad, I really need to work on delivery and timing," he jested rubbing the back of his head and using one foot to scratch his leg a classic Akagi move, "this might just be an epiphany Sy! When you discovered you could do another enchanting style...how? Read these scrolls...these books and tell me if you can!" Akagi was testing his theory, he knew Sylas wouldn't able to read Aura enchanting which would thus prove his point, he had unlocked another style of enchanting.

He waited. Breath held. Grimlock bullying the other dummy behind them.

While Sylas didn't exactly jump as the dummy was split in two, he did shoot his gaze in that direction and took a step further away from Grimlock. He was familiar with the sentry but had never seen the enchantment in this much action. Impressive.

Mostly he was relieved though that there wasn't anything particularly wrong at the moment. "I'm not sure exactly," he tried to answer the question his brother posed. "It wasn't unlike being enlightened the first time. Suddenly a switch just went off inside me and I could understand shrine enchanting."

Interest now thoroughly peeked he moved fully over to Akagi and looked down at the scrolls and books on the table. He allowed his own enlightenment to flow through him as he'd done countless times before but just like every other time he'd tried to read information on aura enchanting, there was nothing seen there but unorganized shapes and glyphs. "No," he told Akagi. "I can't read this. Are you saying that you can?" he asked with an actual hint of a smile on his typically passive face.

In usual fashion Akagi was elated he did a little happy dance which ended with him jumping and clicking his heels together, "Yes! Yes! Tis exactly what I am saying brother," he rubbed his hands together, "ever since you gained your other style all I could think about was our new taag team name: the era of the Double Dragons has dawned upon us," he held up a hand for a high five, hoping for a moment Sylas would indulge him once more.

The flamboyant excitement of his brother was...well actually it was pretty amusing and Sylas actually did smile at the funny little jump Akagi did, made even more amusing now that he was the King. And why shouldn't he be excited? As far as either of them were aware only the two of them had managed such a feat. It was something certainly worth celebrating.

"The Double Dragons?" he asked as he did, in fact, indulge his brother with a high five. His gloves still on, as always, of course. He gave an approving little grin and a nod. It sounded pretty cool actually. "Double because there are two of us or double because it's two methods of enchanting? Because that title might not work when I learn the third." It was a tease. An actual tease. From Sylas Llewellyn.

To hear a joking tease come from his brothers mouth had Akagi positively thrilled totally enchanted in fact, "Well ill work on that name when you achieve the third style," the King said very enthusiastic even encouraging because he would never envy or stifle his brothers intelligence, "I am very proud of us Sy, we are going to do great great things," and Akagi sounded very confident, "Which is why I'd like for you to work on something before our first cabinet meeting, an official alliance between Arynn Frey and Lorendale."

Sylas was proud of them too, he just had a harder time expressing it. "I never told you, but I admire what you did. I feel confident in the future of Arynn Frey with you on the throne, Akagi." It was at his brother's request that he realized how little he'd been paying attention to politics up until now. With the marriage of Akagi and Ophelia and now that she was Queen, he thought the alliance was official. "What more needs to be done?" he asked, ready to work and to learn. "And I will ensure that it is accomplished, brother."

"If my heart could burst with love brother, now would be the time," Akagi admitted just as it looked like he literally swelled with pride, "You have made my day Sy, thank you those words mean more to me than you'll ever know," he smiled so big that for once his face hurt a little but it did not fade even with the subject change, however his tone was a little more serious, "When it comes to Lorendale, well I believe they deserve to answer and assist in the dealings with how we remove the Eldouir threat...we are going to need their Gifted to help, and being in an alliance with Nevermere...to me...doesn't mean it is extended to Lorendale...speak with Aunt Cordelia, she's my Hand and you are my Ambassador, I believe the pair of you can work up something to propose to the Queen of Lorendale."

Sylas listened carefully to what his brother had to say on what still needed to be accomplished. He nodded thoughtfully as the king spoke and even paused for a moment after to fully think about all that had been discussed. "Consider it done, I will be speak to her right away," he told his brother. Ready to leave at that very moment if a dismissal was given.
