The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

Our dearest and lovely admin welcomed her new baby boy, Jet, on Sept 7th! We're so happy for her and her family! Congratulations Mama!! Your boys are all so lucky to have such an incredible mom to love them! God bless!
It was the time she agreed to meet Isaac. he seem like the sort of man she would like he focused on his work and he seems to be kind. Maybe he the sort of person she will need to help her be more then a solider here in Nevermere, cause she is worried now that now she back here, that she will back into old habit. Feeling the need she needed to train twenty-four hours of a day.
Apart of her wanting to hide away in her room pretend that she is ill. However, it would look odd if she turned up tomorrow all well. She was more then a solider and she know she more then that. more than the girl who has to push herself to beyond breaking point.
So she walked to the tavern that she told Isaac about, wearing a tight forest green dress with sleeves that goes down just past her shoulders. thankfully even though it Autumnal it still early in the season. It flattered her figure, hugging her curves well. Her sister helped her put her hair into a up-do. She waited for Isaac on the corner nearby and thankfully she didn't have to wait too long till she saw him, giving him a warm smile. "You look handsome Isaac. Hope you are well."

Isaac was dressed casually, and the second he saw Zarha, he wondered if he had grossly misjudged the tavern-culture of Nevermere (which he doubted because he had gone for a drink before), or if he had misjudged Zarha. She was dressed in a beautiful dress, that was for sure, but he had thought they were going for a friendly beer, yet Zarha looked like she had an important date.
He hid his surprise and smiled at her. "What a difference compared to your soldier attire", he said, not feeling comfortable returning a compliment or calling her beautiful. He wasn't going to spoil the evening at all, but he wished he would've understood sooner that Zarha possibly saw this as a date. He was almost twice her age.

Zarha laughed softly at his assessment on how she looked. "Yeah, it definitely rare to see me in anything but my training gear these days. I would live in them if I could..." She was talking about work. She stopped herself when she noticed. A part of her feel kind of silly dressing up compared to how he dressed, did he see this as two friends getting a drink, because she felt stupid now!

Isaac hadn't known she was such a diehard soldier. He didn't wear his uniform longer than he had to, or he would simplify it so it was a bit more comfortable when he wasn't on duty. He assumed most women would put on a dress the second they could. There was more of a difference between kinds of people here though, than in Coheed. Commoners and nobility. The commoners seemed to have simpler dresses, but he didn't have a lot of knowledge on fashion and clothes. Zarha's dress looked expensive to him.
"Yes, let us", he said while smiling before heading towards the door and holding it open for the young woman.
When Isaac held the door open her heart skipped but she keep a friendly smile on her face. "Thank you Isaac." She walked in. At this point of night it wasn't full but it will get filled as the night goes on. Zarha walked towards the bar. "Can I have an old please, and what ever this gentleman is having." She looked towards Isaac for a moment.

He followed behind her. "A whiskey, please", he said when the bartender looked his way. He waited for the drinks to arrive and paid for both of them before looking at Zarha. "So, you've been to this tavern before?" Isaac asked.

Zarha was about to pay but before she had the chance to pay Isaac paid for the both of them which brought a shy smile to her face. When he asked her if she been her before, "Not for anything socially." Truth be told it was more for work when she come here, but how can you tell somebody that you are out with that work important to you.
"How are you finding living in Nevermere?" She asked wanting to get to know Isaac more on a personal level.

He took a sip from his whiskey and let his eyes wander over the crowd while Zarha asked her question.
"It's definitely different than Coheed", he responded, bringing his gaze back to the woman. "It's nice here. I like living here. Like I said, it's a bit difficult to meet people as a stranger, but the people are kind, most of the time."
"How do you like it here?" he asked with a chuckle. She could compare Coheed to Nevermere as well.

Zarha listen closely when Isaac spoke, he liked it here in Nevermere, she laughed softly at his comment about how Coheed is different then Never, which is true.
"Nevermere is home, my family is here. However, the sun in Coheed was lovely though, I do miss feeling the heat on my face. Though I am glad that I was born here, it give me a chance to grow, it push me to have goals." There was a warm smile on her face and she take a swig of her ale, she not much of a drinker so she is taking her time.
Post by Isaac Hudson on Feb 20, 2024 8:24:56 GMT -5
"Oh, yeah. The lack of sun here was a big adaptation for me when I first got here. I've gotten used to it by now, though", he said, with a soft chuckle. "I'm sure a young girl such as yourself has many military goals. Would you like to be promoted along the way?" he asked.
Post by Zarha Sliva on Feb 20, 2024 8:33:33 GMT -5
Zarha laughed as Isaac mentioned him getting used to having no sun. She knew there was a time when there was sun in Nevermere, however, that was before she was born. However, she have heard about it from the older generation what it was like. Would she like to see the sun here, like it would be nice, but then she might miss the constant overshadow of clouds.
When Zarha was asked her military goals and if she would like to be promoted, she thought a bit as she take a swig of her drink. "I wouldn't say I have many goals that not the same goals as every other soldier out there, get better at combat, live to see the next day. It would be nice to be promoted. However, as you said, I am only young, so I still have a lot to learn before getting a promotion." She explained.
"What about yourself?" she looked softly in his direction

He was a bit surprised to hear she didn't really have any specific military goals. She had seemed very into her duties as a soldier, so he had expected her to have certain goals, promotion wise.
"That's true. You still have a lot to learn, but you'll get there", he said kindly. When she returned the question, he laughed softly.
"I doubt they will promote me. I'm an outsider, after all." He would soon be surprised when the king would ask him to be a royal guard during the tour. He didn't think they would ever really trust him.

It will be to get a promotion, she is very forcus on her duties. "I would love to get a promotion don't get me wrong, but I haven't got any experience. I want to, prove myself. Make a name so my family have a better chance."
Listening to him explaining himself. "Now a person as wonderful as you is sure to get a promotion. You are a great, handsome man."
Post by Isaac Hudson on Mar 2, 2024 17:06:29 GMT -5
"Handsome", he repeated, laughing a bit. "A bit old for you, though." He smiled kindly. He really hadn't realised Zarha thought of this as a date, so he tried to gently let her know he was perhaps not an ideal potential suitor for her. "I appreciate your kind words, but as a Coheedsman, a promotion night be difficult." He took a sip of his drink and looked around the bar.

Giving a weak laugh at his comment about him being a bit old for her. "You can still look handsome, doesn't matter how old you are." In reality, she was trying. Maybe a part of her was scared of ending alone as she kept on seeing everybody else courting and marring off well she training in the yard all alone.
"In my eyes, being a coheedsman, it will give you an advantage because you have trained differently, in Coheed your training regiment is more intense then ours. So maybe your knowledge might give you an upper advantage." She mostly looked down, maybe she was finding it hard in Nevermere to find love, to find somebody who care for her and want to date her.
"Issac? I thought this was a date, it was foolish for me to think of it as a date. I've been told by several people, I need to be more open as I was always in the training yard never having me time. That possible why i don't have any goals, cause I was am... working on getting stronger, faster to know what I want cause I worked on what my family needs and if that means. I am trying hard to read people, but they are so hard to read."
