Levi... she trying not to think of his body just lying there, a part of her wanted to know if it was a quick death. She really hoped for Levi's sake it was quick. "He is... was a good man, Levi was... he..." Her words were that he helped her through a lot through. he was a rock and maybe she should of been more of a rock when he needed her. "I should have been there that day. He should still be with us." Her voice was just above a whisper.

When Elliot voices his opinion about the gifted. She doesn't know about ruining the world because she knows a few gifted who are great. However, Elliot have gone through a lot so she won't question him about it. "Elliot." Her voice was soft, kind when she called him by his first name. "I wish I know the answer to that. Feeling the way they used the..." She wished that gifted wasn't so reckless with their gift and think cause they can harm or kill people.

He would feel around the couch until he found Annabeth's hand, squeezing it softly. "I didn't know him, but he definitely didn't deserve this. We'll make sure he gets a beautiful funeral. And we will let Lorendale know what happened." The Gifted were getting out of control. There was so much loss, so much pain.

He would hold on to her hand as she spoke. "I don't mean to be hateful, I just- I don't get it. I don't understand. Almost all of them use their Gift for malevolent purposes. They don't seem to care about us." He sighed deeply. "If I was Gifted, I would try to better the world, but even the Allemeades aren't to be trusted anymore. Honora joining the Eldouir, Remiel who did you so wrong..." He wondered what she would have to say about that.

When he held her hand and gave it a squeeze it felt nice that he was trying to support her in this time of loss. "I think Levi would prefer a simple Funeral. He has never been one for anything over the top. He was a very down-to-earth man." Squeezing his hand running her thumb against the back of his hand.

Annabeth sat quietly she doesn't know what happened between him and Ikisina because she been away from lorendale at the time. However when he mentioned Remi, she wanted to say that he didn't use his gift on her in that why, he use it to make it more interesting, but not to force her. Plus it took two to tango. Plus he was going throw a lot and she was upset with Castiel. "Well, i can't act like I am innocent, in fact I should of known better than to sleep with a man who is not my husband."

A simple funeral it would be then. He would have Vern help with preparations for it later. He made an acknowledging sound when Annabeth said she wasn't innocent. Elliot smiled weakly and stared into the nothingness before taking a sip of his wine. "It's not up to me to judge you for that. What I mean is that he could have predicted the backlash, but as far as I know, he hasn't done anything to help you when people looked at you differently because of what had happened. What I just meant to say is that lately, I haven't heard a lot of good stories about Gifted. They're murdering people and for what?" He again shook his head. "They're not even trying to fight the enemy amongst themselves. They're joining the Eldouir. It's like... It's like we would join a movement against the royals. Can you imagine? They're associating with the enemy instead of trying to help is rid the world of them."

Annabeth looked down at her hands especially her hand in which had her wedding band on, Castiel didn't protect her from the rumours of her and Dresden, even though they weren't true. Both Remi and her thought that they were alone in the barn, so how could he predict what would of happened? Plus why should he of helped her? They nothing he could of done to change what has happened.

Annabeth looked at him for a moment when he compared Anti-gifted to being Anti-royal. Even though she doesn't feel the same way she takes a soft breath as she thinks about it. "You are right, it is hard we, try and do good in the world and it feels like they take and take and take. I am tired of always putting in more effort than anybody else, well-gifted walking around and they get everything they want." She can also name non-gifted who always get what they want.

She was saying exactly what he was thinking, and Elliot didn't realise that she was just saying what she thought he would want to hear. "I'm not anti-Gifted", he then said, which was a blatant lie, but she wouldn't be able to know that. "I just can't help but notice they get away with a lot of things we wouldn't even be able to dream of getting away with." He shrugged and focussed on his wine again. While she was agreeing with him, he could feel he wasn't getting through to her as much he had hoped. So far he also still didn't know anything about the ball. His invitation would be with Vern, who was now not in the room. Annabeth hadn't told him anything about it either, so he was completely oblivious to what had been happening in the outside world.

Elliot then out his glass down on the table. "I think I need to lie down for a bit. And see a doctor, too, but I will have Vern get one after you leave. I do not mean to chase you away, Lady Porter. You're more than welcome to stay a little longer. I'm quite enjoying you company."

Annabeth looked at him, a part of her knew he was telling the truth. "They were at the ball. Hiram and Honoura, i tried to be brave because Hiram was talking to someone and I didn't want him to hurt her. However, i know I will get told that I shouldn't of put myself in danger." Yet, if somebody else was to step in they would be called brave and heroic. Her voice soundly slightly annoyed at how they do this to her when she was willing to help them.

"I am enjoying your company too. Do you want help to go to your room? I can ask Vern to make a warm meal to bring to you? It will make you feel better.

"It seems like we're both people who do honourable things, then", Elliot responded kindly, using the same word she had used to describe him when he had told her he had attempted to kill Hiram. "They don't appreciate you, Annabeth." His voice was soft again. "You're a good person for putting yourself in danger for others, to keep them safe from Gifted who have bad intentions."

He waved away what she said. "No, no, don't worry. I'll just lay down here on the sofa a bit." He leaned back and got himself into a half-laying, half-sitting position. "What do you think Lorendale would look like without Gifted?" he asked, his voice still kind as to not make her suspect that it was something he wanted. It just sounded like he was wondering what it would be like, with no intention behind it.

Annabeth looked away slightly as she took the words in. But gave a week smile, "Thank you." Was the only words she managed to say with what Elliot words.

She watched as elliot laid down on the sofa and gave a soft smile as she happy to see he is relaxing here. Thinking about his question about what Lorendale will be like with no gifted, it will be different a change, she doesn't know if it was for the best or the worse. She grew up in a world that filled with gifted. Annabeth thought for a moment. "Well it will be different, give people a much needed breather. What do you think?" She asked softly.

He sighed, pretending that it was a difficult question. "I think the murder- and crime rates would go down drastically. When there were collars, things were also more peaceful." He closed his eyes, although it didn't make much of a difference. "They don't want to be collared, or follow laws specifically for them. I wonder why they don't weed out the bad seeds themselves. I'll be more at ease once some of the Gifted move to Rainecourt Keep in Coheed."

Annabeth looked at Elliot for a moment his words reminded her of Simon. "You remind me of I wouldn't call him a friend but he a friend of my ex-husband however he has similar views. He very passionate," she smiled softly, "Not that I am not passionate I am just shy." She explained softly. "May I ask which gifted are you on about?" Aside from the ones who murdered Levi, Annabeth has a feeling that it might be more.

He opened his eyes, again not making much of a difference for his lack of vision. "Who might that be?" he asked, turning his head towards the source of her voice. "Being shy is okay", he added with a smile. "You don't need to voice how you feel in order to have the right to feel it."

When she asked him which Gifted he was talking about, he shrugged slightly. "Mostly the Eldouir, of course, but the Allemeades have been playing with fire too. And just any Gifted responsible for anything. Like that one lord, Pancoretti, or what was his name? He died under very unusual circumstances as well. I believe it was a Gifted who killed him."

Annabeth looked towards Elliot for a moment, "Duke Simon Mikaels. We've known each other since I was eighteen." She explained. When he explained that it was okay to be shy, a part of her wondered if that was the case. As everybody seemed to opinionated and they are open about their opinion,yet here she was, "Thank you." She smiled.

When he explained who he thought should be sent away, she leaned back, "I doubt the Eldouirs will do that without putting on a fight." Annabeth sighs softly.
