The peace that formerly reigned in Terra Nova has eroded, now little more than a memory. War ravages the continent. Disputes divide kingdoms; ideals divide families. The quest for power consumes absolutely and indiscriminately. None are immune to its allure.
Who will rise and who will fall? Only time—and ambition—will tell.

5 whole years of Heir Apparent goodness! When I started the site, I knew I was hunkering down for the long haul, but I never could have predicted the numerous twists and turns this roleplay site has seen. Hundreds of plots, characters, and members have come and gone, all leaving marks on the site. I am so very thankful for those who have invested. Because you keep coming back, keep getting on, and keep writing, Heir Apparent has the legacy it does today. Three cheers to us!

[For Remiel Allemeade, while the Eldouir are in the palace/in Arynn Frey]
Originally, Scout had been in Augustus Rainecourt' office. The prince had ordered some soldiers to bring her there and keep her safe. She had protested a bit, not because she wanted to be where the Eldouir were, but because she didn't want to be sealed in a room. Some other soldiers had ran by, and Scout had asked them what their orders were. Tybalt Zane had instructed them to find Remiel Allemeade. The blonde had pushed past the soldiers that were escorting her to Augustus' office. "I'll join you", she said. The guards that were tasked with keeping her safe protested and told her they needed to protect her, but she waved them away. "Prince Augustus won't mind, as long as I'm away from the Eldouir." With that, she walked with the soldiers that were heading to Allrmeade Keep.
The group, which consisted of Scout and six soldiers, would take as little breaks as possible, and would try to reach Allrmeade Keep by nightfall. The horses ran as if their lives depended on it, and after a long ride, the group reached the farm. She had hoped to meet Remiel again under different circumstances, but the Eldouir had different plans in mind.
Scout left her horse with one of the soldiers, and while two of them put the horses away, the four others would accompany her. Once in the center of the estate, surrounded by buildings, she would look around to see if she could spot Victor Creedy, or anyone. If someone greeted them, she would tell them they were looking for Remiel. If nobody was at the estate, they would go from building to building until they found lord Allemeade.

Scout wouldn't have to search long before Victor approached, "Lady Kane, you don't know how much time ya' saved us findin' someone...it's about Lord Allemeade, Remi, care to follow me?"
Victor explained how Remiel had been returned from the ball event, everyone figured he'd just got a little drunk and would sleep it off only Remiel hadn't woke. He didn't even smell like booze Victor explained, but Remiel still slept.
"We were about to send word back to Loren, but he woke just a few hours ago...and he seems off..., weak? Please I implore for you to see for yourself malady," Victor further explained.
The pair would approach Remiel’s very large Treehouse estate and Victor would escort Scout to the uppermost floor of the tree home. Upon their arrival Scout would find Remiel sitting up in bed, "That was fast," he joked lightly but flinched to touch his head, "Lady Kane...sorry I've been down supposedly. "

Victor surprised her with what he said. She listened to what had happened at the ball. "That's very odd. I didn't even see him drink at the ball, either."
Scout and the six soldiers (the others had joined them again) followed Victor to the treehouse. She ordered them to stay outside while she went in with the man. Remiel was sitting upright. He didn't look very good. His head seemed to be hurting. "I came to see you about something else, but your condition seems urgent. Do you know what happened to you?"

"I was at some event?" Remiel started looking at Victor with his one good eye as if looking for confirmation, "She knows my lord, what do you remember before you don't?"
Remiel looked at his hands brow scrunched, "I was apologizing to Acacia and I left, I remember approaching my horse and that's all I remember until waking up here," when he tried to think his mind seemed to blaze with fire as if something had been burned away, large portions of his memories just gone.
"What did you come to speak with me about? Did I miss the Prince coming to look at the Keep?"

Remiel seemed utterly confused. He sought Victor's confirmation for something as simple as remembering whether he was at the ball or not. Scout frowned ever so slightly and kept an eye on the blonde man. He didn't remember anything after leaving. Something must have happened. Maybe he fell and hit his head on the way home? The woman really doubted that it had anything to do with alcohol. Like she had told Victor before, she hadn't seen Remiel drink anything.
"You did leave pretty soon, indeed", she said, confirming his story. "It's very odd that you don't remember more. We can hear around what others might know or might have seen soon, but I'm afraid there's currently no time for that, how much I'd like to prioritise your situation right now. The Eldouir have come to the palace, and Honora is with them. Do you have any idea why she has teamed up with the Eldouir?" Of course Scout didn't know that Remiel had no memories of Honora anymore.

Remiel knew Myla had been in Lorendale and Elena too after she'd been caught, but he was alarmed nonetheless, "I don't know an Honora or why she'd be teamed up with the Eldouir....but," Remiel began to toss back blankets intent to stand, "We need to go now," the moment he tried to stand Remi felt dizzy stumbling to catching the nightstand beside him still a little uneasy.

"Easy now", she said, bending over towards Remiel to catch him if he were to fall. "You're in no state to leave, and the Queen would say the same if she were here." She gave him a moment to respond but quickly turned to another matter that had caught her attention. "You... Don't know an Honora? Your sister?" Her brows were furrowed and a concerned look was on her face. She looked at Victor for a moment but quickly focused on Remiel again. "Do you remember the rest of your family?" She needed to make sure it wasn't what she was fearing for. Honora had been at the ball. Remiel hadn't been drunk, but his head seemed to bother him, and now he didn't remember Honora... Could it be?

Remiel took the help and advice as he'd aim to sit back down on his bed, rubbing his head furiously, it pounded but he pressed on.
"Luna is my only sister, always has been," that hurt his heart to think about, "Bayard my Father," he'd list his Mother next and that one cousin who had beat him up that one time, Othello, "Never an Honora..that I know of, the family isn't all together as you know," he didn't mention Bryce either because he didn't know her. Didn't know this Honora either, but Scout said his sister?

His head was obviously bothering him, and Scout didn't quite know what to do. Remiel did not remember Honora at all, apparently, which led her to believe the woman must have removed Remiel's memories of her. Her Gift was known to Lorendale, and she had done something similar before, which had cost her her position at court.
She softly sat down next to her in bed. "Honora is a Gifted who is capable of Psychic Absorption. She had removed people's memories before." She looked at Remiel, deciding not to overwhelm him with all information. "I think she removed your memories of her." She wouldn't tell him again she was his sister. That might be too much for him now. "She has sided with the Eldouir. She's done this before, but then it was more out of convenience. But now, she seems to be fully on their side. We don't know why."
