(This is to document Rhedara’s pregnancy with Keelan Morrigan ’s baby. Takes place a little over a month after this thread)
Rhedara had been horribly nauseous on and off for a few days. At first, she thought that the Cambrian food was belatedly not agreeing with her, but now…she wasn’t so sure. She’d begun to suspect a change in her condition when she’d noticed that food made her feel less sick instead of more sick like food poisoning would. She remembered her mother and some of the other women at the docks and her neighborhood speak about their morning sickness. Was that what it was?
Her next clue was when she was when she was going through some of her clothes and found the bits of cloth she used for her monthly bleeding. She picked them up, furrowing her brow. When did she last use them? Counting on her fingers, she realized that she should have already been due to use them…maybe a week ago? Two weeks? She’d not been very strict in keeping track of them, and she’d been so busy recently…
She was probably pregnant. It was probably too soon to know for sure but…her lips tilted up in a pleased smile as she touched her belly with her fingers. Maybe she should have been more nervous since she and Keelan were not yet married, but it would happen soon enough. She’d probably be showing by the time they got back to Nevermere, but if they did a wedding in Coheed first…
Keelan would have to be told. Should she tell him now? It was almost too tempting to jump up and tell Keelan that she was carrying his child right then and there. Bu maybe she should wait a little, to be sure that she really was pregnant and that her monthly bleeding wasn’t just going to happen late that month. She’d give it a couple of days before revealing her suspicions to him.
