There will be no adding weapons or anything like that later. ]
It was morning, early enough that the mist had not settled and the ice made from yet another cold night had not yet melted away. At first there was nothing but the peaceful silence of a new day dawning. Then, with a gurgle of blood, the fire of the Eldouirs was upon Arynn Frey.
Hiram was not much for planning, but he'd seen what Arynn Frey was doing. He didn't know what magic lay within the wall they were erecting, but he would not let it stand. Today was not about taking lives, though they would surely mow down any that attempted to stop them. No, today was about asserting their dominance, and taking something from the spirit of the quiet land of enchanters.
At one point in time the head of the family had only teleported limited bodies at once. Now, having grown and expanded his gift, he'd managed to bring the whole crew. That is, as many of the crew as he was bringing. They didn't know where they were going, but they all knew to be ready to destroy.
Hiram had donned his typical armor made of leather, his personal preference, a suit not unlike what a Coheedsman would be found wearing. His hatchets were at his waist, as well as a dagger in his boot and that handy stone of invisibility that he had nabbed from the Coheedsman many seasons ago rest in one pocket. In the other pocket was a vial of blood. Not just anyone's blood: a witch's blood. Call it a snack for when he got munchy.
He teleported the entire group to the western border, and there they stood before the magnificent wall that had been under construction for years now. While the family members were busy reacting to the sensation of having just drowned in blood and been reborn from it, Hiram was declaring his orders.
"This," he gestured wildly at the wall, "must not stand. Not two stones left stacked. We will split up to make this quicker. You and you will remain here and work your way north." The two yous were Myla and Elena. Myla was easily the most powerful of the group, possessing the most raw, destructive energy. Elena would be a perfect aid to her, also capable of her own destruction, but there to double as protection and a scout. Together they would soar north wreaking havoc.
"You and you," this was to Adeline and Alistair, "I will teleport you to the east." Alistair would hit the hardest between them, and Adeline was the one who would see to their protection. There was also a portion of the wall in the water, and who better to tame the waves than the ice elemental? Neither of their gifts offered an easy escape, but Hiram was confident that they wouldn't need one.
"You and you," to Drystan and Azazel, "will be set in the north." Drystan's mist would be an effective tool to squelching any threat against Azazel. That, and Hiram actually trusted this cousin to be smart. Capable.
That left only one final pair. Hiram turned a violent, crazed gaze to Donovan and Yeva. The underestimated Yeva and the overlooked Donovan.
"You two are coming south with me." Hiram grinned. His eyes traveled over them expectantly, as if waiting for them to ask questions...but after only a moment's hesitation he would bark, "Well, get to it!" Myla and Elena could begin. The blood they had come out of, that dark business which had split a family of deer and now left their torn bodys twitching on the ground, began to rush towards those who yet needed teleporting.
GUIDELINES:
- The Eldouirs are attacking the Arynn Frey wall!
- PLEASE NOTE: This takes place in the early morning, so there would not be workers tending to the wall.
- The construction is mostly completed, but isn't yet finished. Thus, it is only a wall without magic.
- Here is part of a description of the wall:
The Arynnite wall is an impressive structure. The completed parts stand at 65 feet high making it visible in the distance from dozens of miles away. The battlements themselves are wide enough to let a cart pass quite safely. There are towers located every half mile, inside which will eventually be located ballistas, catapults as well as some other enchanted weapons. The wall winds its way through all sorts of countryside, over mountains and even into the ocean. It follows Arynn Frey’s current borders with exact precision and will, eventually, encircle the entirety of the nation.
There will be a total of four gates. One to the south, another the east, the west and a massive maritime gate to the north. Currently only the eastern and southern have been completed. These are (or rather will be) the only entrances to the nation.
- Dresmondi have been the ones to build most of the wall, which means it is very possible that there are camps of them along the walls. If the CN chooses to, she may NPC them falling back or perhaps attacking.
- KEEP OUR SITE'S TRIGGER WARNING IN MIND. I think all of you who play Eldouirs are likely more than prepared to face whatever may come, but make sure to play your characters smartly either way!
- FOR NOW, only Eldouirs should reply to this thread. I will tag in Dresmondi in AF and the queen/Akagi once it is open for them to join. Currently, however, nothing has happened, so there would be no reason for them to be aware of the presence.
- I will be in contact with Rigby about when to jump in as the CN!
- This is a combat, gathering, doing something new, family, romance??? lol probably falls under a lot of stuff for this sickos.
