[ Hiram will arrive with Honora Allemeade, @myla, and Avalon Eldouir; thread intended for @iliana. Expecting all of Lorendale to show up in it... as a general disclaimer, please don't put your character in this thread if you aren't willing to consider the possibility of their death. It's high risk for everyone, even the Eldouirs. Let's charge forward and play nice. ]
Elena had suffered long enough. It was time.
Myla and Honora didn't know it was the day or the time when it was the day or the time. It was a regular day, a casual time in the afternoon, and Hiram came to them.
"Let's go." He didn't say that sort of thing on a daily basis, so they could assume. How they chose to arm themselves before drawing in and getting swallowed by the blood was up to them. Hiram? Hatchets on his waist, one vial of witch blood in his pocket, an invisibility stone in the other pocket (thanks, Rian), and that was it. There was always blood seeping in the cracks and corners of wherever he resided. It rose up all at once, his eyes catching a timely Avalon as she happened to step into his room, and she was teleported along with them.
They rose out of their drowning into darkness. Cold, abandoned, darkness. Hiram's bass voice rumbled like thunder.
"Follow my lead." They would each have to step out of the cauldron, the one full of blood that the Eldouir had planted in the teeming dungeons of the palace back when he had been the Commander. Seemed no one had done their spring cleaning. It was inconspicuous enough, hidden by barrels, tucked in the back just far enough that anyone who might come looking for something purposeful wouldn't think twice.
"There are collars in there." He said knowingly, though it was still too dark for the women, unfamiliar with the space as they were, to see. Still, if one of them felt inclined to dig around and take up one of the metal instruments, they could likely do so easily.
Only the sound of his steps would guide them. They walked through the dungeons until they reached a part of them that were actually inhabited. The guard's eyes widened as the torches illuminated his company. Three Eldouir, Hiram and Myla among them, and Honora Allemeade. He didn't even try to stop them. He ran. Hiram didn't do anything to stop the guy. If none of the others did, he would take his news up the stairs and spread it without reserve, inciting a panic throughout the palace.
No doubt word would get to Tybalt Zane and @iliana in a very timely manner indeed.
Until they were intercepted, Hiram would peacefully lead his party up the stairs, into the main corridors, and head for the throne room. That's where business was supposed to happen, right?
[ First three replies should be Honora, Myla, and Avalon ]
